If you already have one, yes but people like my 78 year old mom can walk a short distance, she can get to her seat on a plane. But she can’t necessarily walk from one gate to another even with people movers sprinkled here and there.

For now I’ve been requesting wheelchair service, but sometimes just using a “buggy” to traverse long distances would have been enough.  These buggies are great within a terminal but they can’t go on the shuttles and trains that take you from one to another.  So back to the wheelchair.

If you have status I’ve noticed internationally that the wheelchair service would deposit you into your lounge and pick you up from it.  So nice of them.
